FEED IN TARIFFS (FITs) AVAILABLE

The Feed-in Tariffs are paid by your electricity supplier. The income they generate is tax free to domestic households and index linked to inflation for both commercial and domestic installations. The payments are guaranteed by Government for 25 years from 1st April 2010.

Your starting tariff is determined by the date at which your project is completed and it is on a sliding and reducing scale (see the table below). There is therefore an incentive to install solar PV sooner rather than later.

Free Solar Panels
